SUMMARY:Assabet River Trail Bridge Construction
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the construction of a new trail bridge on the Assabet River trail.\nThe 20′ bridge will span a small creek. \nThe first phase of the project digging the trail down for the sills is almost complete. On Saturday we will complete the sill installation\, and transport the stringers to the site.\nWe will install the stringers onto the sills and try to complete the railings and decking if possible. \nStart time is 9:30 cutting the railings and moving the sills into place. \nDrilling of the posts will also be done prior to moving the stringers into place. \nAn additional boardwalk will also be built after the bridge is complete. \nLet me know if you can come. \nBring Water\, bug repellent and work gloves. (long pants only please)
