SUMMARY:Knotweed raid at the Canoe Launch
DESCRIPTION:The knotweed is up and growing fast\, so I want to get an early attack in. So I am scheduling a short notice Knotweed pull. Help us destroy the Japanese Knotweed growing at the Acton Canoe Launch. We will meet 2 to 4PM on Sunday May 28. Knotweed is too hard to kill\, so our control plan is: Chop it to the ground several times a year\, and encourage other native plants so they will shade it out. Please contact Joe Holmes (Joseph.Holmes@alum.mit.edu\, 978-635-1982) if you can come\, so I know how many are coming. Dress for the weather\, and bring work gloves and something to chop with.
