Conservation Commission

The Acton Conservation Commission  is the municipal body ultimately responsible for the Acton Conservation lands.  

Members of the Acton Conservation Commission initially formed the Acton Land Stewardship Committee in 1996. The Conservation Commission is also responsible for enforcing the Town’s Wetlands Bylaw and the State’s Wetland Act.

The Natural Resources Department provides staff support to the Conservation Commission.
